Victorious (br: Bright Victoria / pt: Victorious) is an American sitcom created by Dan Schneider and starring Victoria Justice. The series revolves around Tori Vega, an aspiring actress and singer, who attends the Hollywood Arts College, where all students have a kind of talent, as you enter into crazy situations daily. [1] The first episode of the series premiered on 27 March 2010 in the U.S. right after the Kids' Choice Awards, and had just 5.7 million viewers to become the third biggest opening of Nickelodeon, second only to iCarly and Big Time Rush Scott Fellows. The series premiered on October 13, 2010 in Brazil and 11 November 2010 in Portugal. The show is recorded at Nickelodeon Studios on Sunset in Hollywood in California. [4] The first season of the show started recording in October 5, 2009, and ended on 14 April the following year, [5] eighteen days after the opening, ending with twenty episodes. The first season was just like a feature-length special episode, titled Freak the Freak Out, and the song of the same name was released as a single in November 2010, and entered the Billboard Hot 100. [6] Several other songs were played in the season .

The second season premiered on April 2, 2011. In Brazil, the second season premiere is scheduled for October 14, 2011.

Synopsis

Tori is a teenager who unexpectedly finds himself in an art school for high performance. After her sister Trina have an accident the night of the talent contest, her sister and replaces Tori sings the song from Trina. Tori sings, dances and impresses the school, which offers the opportunity to become a student of the College of Arts Hollywood. From the first day of school, Tori feels out of place among the very talented students, especially with Jade. However with the help of Trina, Andrew Beck and Cat, she will realize what shall belong to that place.

* Erwin Sikowitz (Eric Lange) - The acting coach in Hollywood Arts. He has strange methods of teaching. Tori (and possibly all others) believe that he's crazy. He likes to drink coconut water, it says that water "gives you visions."
* David and Holly Vega (Jennifer Charter and Jim Pirri) - Parents of Tori and Trina. They appear in several episodes.
* Mamaw (Renee Taylor) - The eccentric grandmother of Robbie, who has problems with the internet and that Robbie is like a child. She does not like Cat, because he thinks that she and Robbie are lovers.
* Sinjin Van Cleef (Eric Michael Reid) - It is a 15 year old, and has muddled through a crush on Jade. He's nice, but strange, especially with the decor of your wardrobe, which consists of the food chewed and spit out by him.
* Moorefield Lane (Lane Napper) - The school counselor helps students solve their problems. Especially Tori, who visits almost every time with its typical problems of day-to-day.

In discussing the possible concepts for the series during the meeting, Victoria Justice mentioned that she had attended a performing arts high school. The idea was integrated with Dan Schneider, who recognized the appeal of the series about fame. "If there is anything I have learned about kids today and I'm not saying this is good or bad, is that all they want to be stars," said Dan Schneider. Marjorie Cohn, who was then executive vice president of Nickelodeon's original programming and development, agreed. "Every kid thinks he is five minutes and a fortunate circumstance to be famous," said Cohn. He noted that iCarly, a comedy about a girl who hosts a popular web show, was stimulated by the increase of the celebrities of YouTube and became a hit show on Nickelodeon.

On August 13, 2008, Nickelodeon announced that Victoria Justice had signed a "global talent to deal with the music" with the company and agreed to star in a musical-comedy series, then untitled, about a girl who attends a school of performing arts. In discussing the premise of the show, Dan Schneider said that while it would be good if more children "want to be teachers and social workers" instead of celebrities, "At least in 'Victorious', you see a world where they are all working in the field of talent. Columbia / Epic Label Group of Sony Music Entertainment, decided to co-produce the series as part of a partnership to develop the talent and release your music.

Several of the actors Victorious had made guest appearances on several Nickelodeon programs before the release of Victorious. Besides Zoey 101, Victoria Justice appeared in the television series iCarly, The Naked Brothers Band and True Jackson, VP. She also co-starred with Avan Jogia, who plays Beck, a Nickelodeon original movie, Spectacular!. Daniella Monet was a guest on three episodes of Zoey 101 and iCarly has also participated as Leon Thomas III was released in episodes of iCarly and The Naked Brothers Band. Thomas, Elizabeth Gillies, Ariana Grande and all have appeared in Broadway musicals. Both were tested in New York, as co-starred in the musical 13.

* Shows Victoria singing and then putting on a show with several people dancing. Soon after the logo shows, then victorious name with starring Victoria Justice (starring in Portuguese).
